Warehouse Cafe + Irresistible Wear Art Exhibition

Warehouse Cafe

I went to The Warehouse Cafe Art at Chinatown KL today lol. (´･ω･｀) It's a food outlet cum art gallery, which piqued my interest to go and take a look :P My good friend Rainbow (her hippie name lol) treated me to the sandwich set ♪(ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ The sandwich set is priced at RM 20++, but we got it cheaper as my friend bought Groupon vouchers~

☆ Rainbow turning around like a model LOL. Work with the camera baby! ☆

Located opposite a Hindu temple, the shop is composed of three sections, namely fine dining (1st floor) , art gallery & the cafe section. The outlet itself looked incomplete, as it seemed like the tiling of the floor wasn't completed. Although I do wonder if it was left unfinished on purpose for artsy-fartsy purposes LOL. (￣▽￣)ノ＿彡☆

☆ The tuna sandwich ☆

I chose tuna filling for the sandwich, while Rainbow (who was clad in her Love-and-Peace fashioned clothing) opted for smoked chicken. （　´∀｀） I forgot to take a picture of her sandwich though ∑(O_O；)

☆ Really thick coffee ☆

The sandwich comes with salad and coffee. I liked the salad a lot! It was slightly salty, just the way I like it. The coffee was too thick & bitter for me, but some people like it that way xD I think it would've tasted better if I drank it while it was still slightly hot. All and all, the dish was filling and yummy, I didn't feel hungry until night-time. ＼(o￣∇￣o)/ふあー

The outlet also sells paintings for RM 450 each. We weren't supposed to take pictures, but we didn't see the "no camera" sign until we were done taking pictures. Oops :P

KLCC's Art Gallery: Irresistible Wear

☆ This was located at the KLCC entrance near the big lake lol. Diwali is approaching~ ☆

Me & Rainbow went to the KLCC Petronas art gallery after exiting the cafe. The "Irresistible Wear" showcase started yesterday. Rainbow was naturally excited as she looooves all those tie-dye patterned clothing 8D Haha, you hippie girl you ♥

Unfortunately taking pictures was prohibited (naturally), so the best I could show you was my un-awesome freehand drawings xD;;; i just wanted the style as reference so yeah.

☆ The fashion showcase was mostly based on Batik, patterns painted using the "Shidori" technique & tie-dye patterns ☆

Yes, I am still alive haha. Hope you're all doing fine! I am now back in KL, looking for a fresh start in my working life. Sadly not everyone agrees with this idea, especially those close to me. Now I'm really wondering whether I've made the right choice...

New Layout+Header!

How do you guys like the new Persona 3 Portable header? I drew and coloured it myself (*^^*)ﾎﾟｯ I don't wanna toot my own horn, but since it's the first time I made one, I felt like I had made a little achievement today (albeit on a whim, heehee :P ). The header is a preview of my artwork to be released in an upcoming artbook by KAMCAO and other guest artists including Nad (thestarofpisces). The artbook will debut on 12.11.11 at AFA 2011 Singapore! It'll be the first time that my artwork would be printed out and sold so I'm really excited! ^_^ Do support us! (^0^)/ Oh yeah, two of my artworks will be featured in the book |･ω･｀)ｺｯｼｮﾘ Nad helped me a lot in editing the artworks ^w^ Hopefully all those sleepless nights to finish the artworks were worth it! (finally my tablet has pressure, thanks to Nad lololol I never installed the drivercoughcough)

Btw, I updated the layout for my tumblr too. Go check it out! ;D I installed a P3P theme, hehehe. ^3^

Part-time job

Initially I sought to work at Old Town White Coffee as a part-timer, but alas they never called me back. I was unfortunate enough to have come at a time when the Manager was not present. The woman who asked me to fill in the application form seemed a bit grumpy, too. So in the end, I'm still jobless. Lol. (´･ω･｀) Come to think of it, today's the day of the open interview at Starbucks. But I changed my mind on going since a company already called me for an interview, and it seems like there's a high chance that I'll be hired by the said firm.

Potential Job?

I was called for a second intereview with Kingsbury Media & Advertising for the post of Copywriter. I'll be honest and have never done any copywriting work before, but I'm sure I can learn how. If it's a language pattern, I'm sure that it can be conquered via hard work. However, I was dreadfully late for the second interview. Luckily, they didn't think ill of me (’-’*) フフ Apparently, the CEO was unsure of my capability of translating an ad into Bahasa Malaysia, so I'll have to wait for an e-mailed English ad for me to translate (to assess my skill). I really hope I'll do well! I know I can do this! （（（（ヽ(｀０´）ノ））））ﾊﾞｰﾘｱｯ But if I don't succeed, I'm sure other options will open up for me.

Friends Help Each Other

Yesterday night, I helped my friend Nad to edit her story for manga class. Editing other people's written works is quite fun! Probably due to the fact that I usually lack ideas for writing a story, so I found it quite thrilling, as I felt like I was the one writing the story. :P It's either that or I have some weird editing fetish （￣ー￣）ニヤリ My writing style isn't very "flowery", so I hope that the editing was good enough. It was the least I could do after she helped me with photoshop editing and what-not xD Oh btw I drew this random ojiisan while I was editing her work hahaha

Karaoke

Recently, I suddenly felt excited in the karaoke room again (it's been a while since I felt that way). Probably I regained some of that old confidence haha ^///^. Hopefully I'll record a new cover song soon. (Today a housemate played truant from work, so I couldnt do that lol) I haven't been to SMICafe for months now, but at least RedBox has classic anime songs I could sing lol. And I can watch my non-tokusatsu-fan friends laugh their asses out at the Kamen Rider X video clip TwT'''' Now I usually sing Abba, Spice Girls and some cheesy boyband songs with Nad. I typically do the support background singing. Seriously, harmonising songs is fun!

"Tomodachi no Uta", originally sung by Nakamura Ataru.

I saw other fancovers of this song....I can feel my self-esteem plunging hahaha TwT Why are these people so talented OTL Made me feel like I can't sing at all orz. TwT Apparently this song is very famous lol. It was sung by a person who went through gender change. She has a beautiful voice...and to think that she was male! Amazing, ne O3O

I faced countless disruptions while recording this song (why cant motorcycles be more quiet, why can't chickens lay eggs more quietly, why can't my sister call me a bit later etc etc) , so the mic noise sounded uneven because I recorded it in parts ヾ(´･ω･｀) Heard a 12 year old did a fancover of Rolling in the Dark. She sounds like a pro. WHAT IS WRONG WITH ME OTL Talented people, tch! I must work hard, too. O3O Ganbaruzo!! *takes out Singing for Dummies* orz

I'm gonna start applying for jobs tomorrow...sigh. (._.) But I do need money.

Scratchy vocals and minor mistakes aside, I was relatively happy with it ヽ(´▽`)/ Unfortunately there are no instrumental version of this song available （つ Д ｀） I'm sorry for the background noise, for some reason birds like to be my background singers ಠ_ಠ (happens every time lawl) and the scratchy vocals (couldnt fully warm up the vocals when I'm alone). I really love this song, I can feel the strong emotions in the original song >///< finally managed to cover it after so many days of not being able to record songs at home ಥ‿ಥ When I can play the guitar, I'll resing this song~ ʘ‿ʘ

Scanner, 6-hour karaoke

I finally bought a scanner~ ಥ‿ಥ

It's a Canon flatbed scanner~

Now I can finally scan artworks again yaaaay. ⊂二二二（　＾ω＾）二⊃ So far it's working fine. I wonder if I should buy copics for my portfolio, but i'm rather tight financially at the moment lolol.

I'm now doing a part-time job for my friend's dad, but I'm not sure if I'm doing enough orz. Since it's a start-up company, everything, including my job scope, is still in "beta" version, namely, everything is still under "trial" basis. I hope I'll do a sufficiently good job orz? I have no idea how to bill him hahaha ;;;;

Anyway I went to karaoke anisongs for six hours today. SMI Cafe updated their joysound machine, so most songs could be keyed in （ ^_^）o自自o（^_^ ） I went with Peecee, Sam, Neko & Ken (Peecee's friend from Japan). It was fun, but it would be much more fun if Ryu & Saku were there （つ Д ｀） My friends were flat on the sofa after singing for six hours lolol. I sang Crest of Zs, MAXON, SKILL, etc etc. But I forgot to key in Vanguard NOOOOOO ヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ I think my vocal stamina levelled up lol?

Mm, I should start recording songs again. （‐＾▽＾‐）オーホッホ Haha...I guess not many people can appreciate the way I sing lolol. But that's normal.

Btw, I ordered JAM Project's Best Collection VIII album and Endoh-san's upcoming latest album lolol. ☜(⌒▽⌒)☞ I can't wait till they arrive ʘ‿ʘ

And I should really kick my ass to study for my test argh.

Gonna leave my job sooner than expected due to the abundance of my leave days. Apparently, I'll leave the office on 3 July 2011, and I'll be on half day on the last day. The good thing is I'll have more time to study Japanese prior to the test. Yay! Of course I'm sad about leaving, but it doesn't mean that I can't see them whenever I want to ;D My colleague, Calvin broke his old chair today -w- apparently the sound was really epicly loud ("the sound of music", Stuart said) but I missed it cause I was at the Vegetarian Uncle's stall. (Uncle gave me a purse from Thailand yay!)

The journey to climb that wall to realising your dream is a thrilling one, as Danny Choo mentioned in one of his blogs lol. Life may become harder, but may also become more exciting =w=

Recently I've started gaming and doodling again, it's like a "rewind" moment in my life. I feel a lot more like "myself" again woohoo!

To Italy again?

The Italian embassy has opened applications for study grants to Italy (similar to the one I did before).

I'm heavily considering to go. Of course, depending on where I'd be working during the study period, I'd have to quit that job. Or this job. I MISS U ITALY (+_+)

Next is to consider which grant to take. The simplest would be to take the same one as I did before, (three-month language study course) but hopefully, I'll get the "C" level during the entrance exam. Last time, I had the chance to go to the "C" level, but I chose "B" instead since my main aim was to tour around Italy. The certs from the "C" level can be used when one applies for jobs etc. The classes are harder though. I'm not sure how those certs would be used in Malaysia though. (-ω- )

Since the age limit is 35, I should go as often as I can. hahaha p(*＾-＾*)q

I dunno if the three-month language study grant for Japan is still available though.

I REALLY NEED A BREAK T____T

The pressure at the office is escalating, my team leader wants to see progress THIS WEEK, especially because the firm's Managing Director from the UK is here T___T

This means that I'll have to wake up at 4am to pad up unfinished work T___T

I'm also considering getting another job, but the thought of working in yet another office kinda scares me @___@ I'm scared this would repeat itself. But at the same time, there's a chance that it wouldn't. I dunno what to think anymore lllorzlll

Still wondering how to tell my parents that I want to quit my job, avoid nagging to become a government servant, trying to become an animator (probably after going to Italy) and learning animation basics and making an art portfolio while having a temporary job? @___@

Or maybe I should make a manga and send it to the Gempak editor and try my luck. hahaha. My friend who works there said that the competition is tough though. @__@ I don't mind the competition, but between the upcoming Japanese test (Ive barely studied for it), miserable salary(wo)man life and potential family problems, I haven't the time to make one at the moment. But I'd really like to try.

I'm kinda anxious to talk about it with my dad >_> I hope he'll understand. Maybe that way it'll be easier to break the news to my mum. @___@

Finally Enchan-tachi talked about the earthquake, and apparently Enchan's family was saved via helicopter. He said that he was really really happy when he received the call saying that his family was safe and that a lot of things happened at his hometown.

Lantis has started an "Anisong Donation activity". Iidesune! I hope Japan recovers from the earthquake quickly! Maybe I should donate for Japan summore...

Jam Project and the earthquake

Endoh-san has finally updated his blog today, saying that he received the news that his family is safe. His hometown, Ishinomaki, was among the areas most severely hit by the quake on 11 March 2011. He stated that it was truly a miracle that they were rescued from such hellish condition.

I'm really, really, REALLY happy for him T____T God, You are truly Merciful m(_ _)m

Enchan, now I believe in miracles, too.

It's the first time that Ive read such a sad blog from him T___T it was short, yet heartfelt.

Enchan is amazing. I couldn't imagine going on air on radio sounding cheerful when my family, my family's situation is unknown, just because I know a lot of people out there are worried about me. >.< He must've gone through a hard time. Enchan...よく頑張ったな！元気になってちょうだい！

Now fans on Twitter are buzzing about how happy they are that his family is safe. (*^^*) Yeah, I opened a Twitter account just for that hahaha.

Unfortunately, the earthquake occurred on Okui-san's birthday, so her birthday live concert was postponed. If I read it correctly from the JAM Project latinoamerica website, she expressed sadness for the victims of the 9.0-magnitude quake (revised from 8.9).

Even Lantis put a notice on its main webpage regarding the earthquake.

Although I haven't seen any news on Aniki, but since his ヒーローはNever ねば Give Up！ (album/single?) is going to be released on the 25th of March 2011, and no cancellations has been made, I suppose that he's allright. I hope to hear updates from him soon!

Regarding the Fukushima Plant, the Japanese government had to order workers to evacuate the plant due to the surge in radiation levels. There are concerns that the wind might blow radioactive material to Tokyo, causing an exodus, but experts stated that the radioactive materials would disperse when they reach Tokyo, so the public shouldn't worry although areas near Tokyo have recorded minute increases (10 times) the normal radioactive levels. I'm praying that the situation becomes better soon. I even donated to the Red Cross, in hopes that it might help a little.

Earthquake in Japan, 2

Regarding the earthquake in Japan, the good news is that JAM Project members are safe.

Twitter is buzzing with fans asking for information regarding the situation of Endoh's family in tsunami-hit Miyagi-ken, which is very near to the epicenter of the quake. I'm praying that they are safe. >.<

No updates on the situation have been made at the JAM Project official website. I haven't heard any news regarding Ichirou Mizuki. I believe he's safe, but let's pray for his safety!

It was predicted that Japan will experience large aftershocks for the whole year. I really hope that's not going to come true >___< Japan, our hearts are with you. Be strong!

Earthquake in Japan

Ya minna...

An earthquake occurred in Japan at around 2pm+ on 11.3.11. Tokyo's buildings are barely damaged due to the good architecture, but Cosmo Oil's refinery was sent ablaze. No nuclear leakage has been reported. According to Tokyo Electric Power, the quake caused over 4mn homes to not have electricity.

The quake's epicenter was 231 miles northeast of Tokyo at a depth of 20 miles and the death toll from the quake and tsunami has risen from 19, to 26, to 29. Train services and airports have been suspended (including Narita Airport), causing many people to be stranded, including those at Tokyo Disneyland. In addition, Tokyo Disneyland was flooded.

The aftershocks in Tokyo (where the magnitude was 8.9) were still felt over three hours following the earthquake. The quake, which is the most powerful to have ever occurred in Japan in 140 years, even bent the top of Tokyo Tower. Several areas were hit by tsunami, including Miyagi-ken. Fires occurred in Sendai and Tokyo, among other places. Japan extended tsunami warnings to Indonesia, the Philippines, Hawaii, Taiwan, North and South America as well as the Pacific coast of Russia.

The quake disrupted the Internet connection at my office for about 30 minutes. I'm very worried about JAM Project members and others at Lantis, including Umasugi Wave members. My whole body froze when I received the news from my colleague. I'm praying for them, as well as everyone in Japan. I'm anxious to know the updates on JAM members.

Please, God, let them be safe.

Japanese class, JLPT, bye bye translation job

Remember when I said that I was trying out for a translator position?

Well, scratch that. ｢(ﾟﾍﾟ)　エットォ…

Although I did get a reply from them, as they sent me a short translation test to do,
a friend of mine, who went to an interview at the same company,
albeit for a different position,
found out that this company does not provide SOSCO, EPF or any other benefits.
You know, the things you need when you actually retire @__@
Aside from the RM 2,000 flat pay, there's a high chance that
one has to continue working at home. (and the working time is 9am-7pm)

.....So no thanks. I'll pass. ﾁｬｳ(･_･三･_･)ﾁｬｳ
I'll have to ignore the said e-mail reply by the said firm to avoid any possibility of being called for an interview (-ω- )
But that was quite a let-down though.
And just when I thought things were getting better after I received the reply, too.
But it's okay.
At least the location of my current workplace makes it easier for me to go to Japanese classes d(^_^)　ねっ
I'll just concentrate on reaching the target and on Japanese language for the moment.

I even subscribed to the P1 Wimax Internet connection to avoid going back so late at night.
Going back earlier, I wanted to do vocal practice while I do work. LOL.
But the connection has been unstable these few days, which piled up more work for me because I couldn't even go online to do work ―(T_T)→ ｻｸｯ
And that makes the Internet-connection-at-home plan redundant OTL
I can still return it and get my refund if it's still being tsundere by Saturday night ( e_e)

Yesterday I took a placement test,
to determine whether I qualify to go straight to the
Intermediate 2 class, based on the recommendation of the person (my future teacher) who answered my queries.
I still prefer JLSM, cause the customer service is waaaaaaaayy better (._.)
I miss Joe-san and the guy who's always helping him at the counter!
Maybe I should use registering for JLPT as an excuse to meet them.
LOLOLOL!! (￣▽￣)ノ＿彡☆バンバン！!

The place was quite noisy, due to the music from a nearby shopping mall.
Plus, there was a girl sitting for a placement test for a different level,
she keeps making "thinking" sound effects lawl O3O;;;;
I don't blame her, but I couldn't concentrate every time she does that haha ＿|￣|○
So I stuffed my ears with JAM Project music <3
And voila! Concentration up 10000000000000000000infinityX <3
Mainly two questions confused me, but overall it was okay.
The whole test covered everything I learnt in my previous class.
Since I still remember everything, Edward Sensei is one awesome teacher ne!

I hope my class will be filled with people who's willing to speak in Japanese! :D
It will be quite a short class, 1 & half months.
I love my previous class, but they all spoke in their mother tongue in class, so not much oral practice except with Sensei. OTL
After passing the test, I'm considering going to JFKL instead (if i can fulfill the prerequisites lawl). ♪(ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

Oh! I just received a call saying that I passed my Japanese language placement test woohoo! YAY! I'll work hard for the test (*≧▽≦)~♪

N3DS is out in Japan! It was hacked within 24 hours of launch. I WANT ONE ORZ!~
Initially I wanted the Xperia phone, but i figured the Sony NGP would be waaaaaaaaaaaayy awesomer. Now I'm having a dilemma as which one to get when the better versions come out. Maybe I'll get them one by one. LAWL IWASHI YOU GREEDY FANGIRL YOU <3

Voice acting audition, gift exchange with housemates

Apparently it's a White Valentine for my Endoh-san haha. It's snowing where he lives lawl. GAAAAH I WANT MY TYPICAL "PUT-YOUR-HAND-IN MY-POCKET-CAUSE-YOU-FORGOT-YOUR-MITTENS" SCENE WITH HIM GRAHH *emo* TAT //kicked//

I want to give him my hand-made chocolates. sobs ;___; *hopeless romantic mode*

Anyway!
I went to my very first Voice Acting audition on 13 February 2011.
Firecrackers Studio was looking for voice actors and voice actresses for the upcoming local animation, "Hikayat Inderaputera".
Needless to say, the summary of the story shows that the storyline is quite cliche'd, but what matters is that if the execution is good right? (u.~)
You know, amnesia, prince, heir to the throne but he didn't know it, etc etc.
The taxi driver Uncle was really nice! he had a thick...Kelantanese (?) accent.
I even saw Mr Os, an ex-actor at the taxi stand. He's working as a taxi driver now :D
I had a little trouble finding the studio at first, cause Google Maps didn't show the complete address.

You can see how quiet and desolate the place was >_> after a while, it got a bit creepy lawl.
I think I was walking around for about 40 minutes before finding the place @___@
Luckily, I had the somewhat complete one written down on a piece of paper. (I was late in realising that of course) =_=;;;
It was a hot day, and due to my nervousness, I forgot to drink some water before the audition. OTL;;

Finally found the entrance, which did not have a sign stating the location of the studio T___T
The receptionist had to babysit a baby and a kid. The baby was so cute <3
I tried for Nenek Kebayan and Suri, but I did a horrible Nenek voiceacting hahaha.
In spite of my tongue-twister warm up i did in the morning, one of the typical symptoms that came out during the audition was "speaking too fast" due to nervousness and slight fumbling in the sentences (like kau became engkau lawl).
I managed to slow down a bit in the later parts of the script orz.
I knew I was supposed to do Malay tongue twisters instead of the English one. Nooooo (T3T)
The guy told me guidelines on what type of feel he wanted for the first few phrases in the script.
He wanted to see how I would do for the final three lines, which included probably the uncoolest/tackiest line of all:
"Bukan apa, aku...aku tak mahu kehilangan kau berdua *mengeluh*"

...or something like that.

HAHAHAHA OMGAR ORZZZ I couldn't believe I said that 8DDD;;;
I could feel my right cheek twitching, but since that audition was my big chance (and it was recorded on camera), I held back from rofling on the spot :P
The audition wasnt a "complete success", but I was glad cause the person auditioning me liked my voice acting for Suri, a not-so-ladylike 15-year old hunter girl. OwO
Yay! I don't know how the other candidates did, tho O3O;;;
Although the character is the youngest, she acts like an onee-san to everyone.
Reminds me a bit of my friend Ryu. Hahaha! :P

But apparently they posted a video on some of the voice acting auditions.
I couldn't view it in the office, but I hope my face isn't in it OTL;;;
Anyway! Waiting for the results in two weeks' time. OwO
Curious to know the results haha.

When I called the taxi service to pick me up, I had trouble describing the place (because the building's name has been taken off from the place orz).

Near the stairs to Indah Water, there was an outlet with a number of aquaria, which were literally filled with large fishies. O___O
Yeap, congestion problem there.
Some of the poor fishes died because they jumped/fell out of the aquaria. T_T

Eventually, a funny taxi driver man came to pick me up.
He told me jokes about his experiences in massage rooms, because he was talking about the nearby Thai Massage centres. xD

On another subject, me and my housemates held a gift-exchange-makan2-event thingie at home.

The presents! I received the green one, based on random number voting.

And inside is:

I'll buy lavender cause it's for stressed people lolol.

The food was sooooo yummy XQ______

On the other hand, I've started doing daily vocal exercises for singing xD

Worker of darkness, Tobira wo akete cover song~

The first hour at work last week was spent working in the dark @___@

There was something wrong with the wiring so there was this weird blackout where only some fuses & computers were functioning. O____O The blackout really threw off my working rythm e__e Had to share plugs and stuff hrmmm made work a bit complicated.

Anyway! High chance I'm gonna get a guitar soon OwO I'm pretty excited about it XD

Yosh! I'm gonna share another cover song with you all! This time it's "Tobira wo Akete" from Cardcaptor Sakura. This time i'm the lead vocal, with Sakura as the background singer & Reryu as the boombox xD

Tried to "Manlify" the song hahaha YwY Added a rock and roll flavour to the song. I think we can do better tho. Maybe should redo this one day. Do tell me what you guys think lawl. ;D

Ya minna. Ranty blog ahead! Warning!

It's one of those days
When my chest feels tight.

I just got a raise.
Happy? Far from it.

Basically saying that the review shows not much has changed,
aside from the coding training.

Concentration/production problems keep cropping up.
This slows down work pace by a LOT.
I can't seem to solve it.
I'm lost, really.

Apparently
things I did which I thought would solve some production problems
Still troubled others.

I don't belong here.

But at the same time, I don't think I can go back home.
It's hard to explain, but
By doing that,
There's a high chance I'll lose this freedom completely.
And most probably lose touch with anything that keeps my dreams alive.
To me, that's worse than death.

In terms of changing jobs,
My qualifications do not give me a lot of choices,
in term of technical jobs, that is.
I envy my ex-colleague, who was in the same boat as I was.
She quit and took a leap of faith,
Going back home and searched for another path.

I need to take a leap of faith too.

I'm still looking for options.
Obviously "working hard to create free time" isn't working
as well as I had planned.

I just want my free time back. Desperately.
I need it to reach my dreams.
I know I'm meant to reach them.
I just know it.

I want to be where I belong.

I'm sorry. At the moment, I feel like exploding Y___Y I might remove this entry when I feel better.

Singing attempt lawl?

How's everyone?

I'm actually really tired =w=
Happy New year, everyone!
It wasn't that "happy" a new year for me, cause I spent Christmas and New Year's finishing up office work online. T__T
But alas! Memories with JAM Project (coughcoughEndohMasaakicough) always make me happy <3
You know how people have "think happy thoughts" techniques?
Well, this is mine :P
Apparently Enchan had a lot of fun in Thailand.
I miss him orz.

Last Saturday I was alone in my room (doing unfinished work or course =A= )
I desparately needed a break. So!
This is what I came up with.

I sang the background for "Angel Voice" (Macross 7).
It's not perfect, probably because I didn't heat up my throat properly and I barely spoke that day, so I sounded a bit "croaky". hahaha =w=;;;
Take note tho, I don't usually sing in this range @__@
I'm still not used to sound editing, so sorry for the insufficient Noise Removal orz.
It wasn't so good? But at least it wasn't as bad as I thought it'd be.
Do tell me where I can improve! ;D
I really should do this more often haha. Stress-relieving =w=

Iwashi's encounter with JAM Project at AFA X!!!

I just came back from an awesome electrifying fun AFA X weekend in Singapore. As I mentioned before, I was awarded an autograph session with my idol supergroup, JAM Project During the said session, those awarded with the opportunity will get a handshake session with the artiste(s) and a pre-signed I Love Anisong poster (one must state the First Choice and Second Choice for the artistes). My friend PCManiac (Peecee) helped me booked my JAM Project concert ticket, which of course is my birthday present to myself :P (thanks a lot Peecee), which offers a chance to take part in the ballot for the session. Peecee won a session with the Great Ichirou Mizuki (Aniki) Anyway, I love my new header haha.

Eve of AFA X
On the way to Suntec City Mall to redeem Ryu & Saku's VIP concert tickets, we saw SCANDAL crossing the road across the hotel where we were staying at. The four girls were dressed in sailor-fuku uniforms, with almost knee-high black socks. This is an unclear pic I took using my phone...

Meanwhile, on the way back, we passed Katsu nii-sama, the guitarist and composer for Angela, another group to perform in AFA X. He was smiling when he saw Ryu rolled in fangirl spasm mode at the sidewalk. I couldnt stop smiling. Fangirl buttons triggered fully at that moment. He did a small wave (?), smiled a wide smile and walked off. And did I mention that his bodyguard was laughing at us? =w= I spent the night making a banner for the concert.

First day, 13 November 2010

On the first day, we were late partially because we thought the event starts at 10 am (at 9 am actually)....and because of makeup. =w=''' I was a bit obsessed with looking good that day. Only one man can make me do that :P The JAM Project handshake/autograph session starts at 1pm. And Endoh Masaaki is in that group. Yes, the man of my dreams. <3 恋する乙女のミッシオン、スタート！ <3 8D

Initially, I couldnt get into the hall because my friend was busy, so he couldnt redeem our venue and concert tickets. After somehow managing to redeem the venue and concert tickets, I went to change into my maid dress in the toilet. A nice cosplayer girl (named...Zhou Wei I think?) gave me some eye glue for the fake eyelashes. (Left my eye putty in all the rush) Thanks a lot! She even said how cute my "cosplay" was haha. (I wasn't cosplaying, just dressed as a random maid lol). My friend Ryu helped me with the makeup (yays for Artistry) (thanks a lot hun <3 ) I was wearing an Emma-style maid dress with a blonde wig and a simple head dress, as well as turquoise contacts. I somehow lost my stage pass (the one that needs to be wrapped on the wrists). That gave me a bit of a headache orz. When I went to the counter to buy another one (which costs SGD 10), I saw my friend Neon, who had an extra stage pass by coincidence. Thanks Neon, you're a lifesaver ;D <3 I needed the pass mainly for the JAM Project stage appearance at 3 pm.

By 12.30pm, I went to line up for the Autograph & Handshake session. I met a few Singaporean girls and ate while lining up. Hearing the crowd scream, I guessed that JAM Project members have already appeared for the session. You could say I was smiling from ear to ear when I first saw Okui Masami (Okui-san) from where I was standing, and then Kageyama Hironobu (Kage-nii), Fukuyama Yoshiki (Fuku-chan), Kitadani Hiroshi (Dani-san). Finally, I saw his spiky blonde hair. THEN I saw his smile. I saw Endoh Masaaki (Enchan) for the first time in real life. <3 *SQUEEE* I was thinking: OMG. HE'S REALLY HERE!!!

I was expecting Enchan to be the last member in the line for the handshake session, but instead, he was the first. ^^; When my turn came, before I could say anything, he jerked his head slightly to the left while looking at me with a stunned expression (super round eyes lololol), and said:

"Wooooow." >8)
...and smiled a cheeky smile <3

*OMGOMGOMGHOTHOTHOTFANGIRLMOMENTSPASMFAINTINGPLZBHAHAHAOTL*

I giggled (He flashed a big teeth-showing smile) and I walked over to him to shake (more like grab) his hand. I was supposed to shake his hand with ONE hand, but apparently my left hand decided to clasp his hand, too ( oops haha u///u ). His hand is broad, a bit warm and slightly dry <3 At this point, looking into his eyes, my head went blank, in spite of all that thinking of what to say to him. I stammered slightly and said:

"Enchan ni...Yatto meguriaetanda!!" I sang the "Yatto meguriaetanda" part to him, which is a line from his song, "LIFE". He looked pleasantly surprised and said "Jyouzu desu ne!" 8D And the others clapped @///@ I smiled and looked at him (I never let go of his hand ehem) My mind was completely blank. And then I said...

"Suki da yo". :)

Oh God. My first ever love confession was made to Endoh Masaaki.

(...I did NOT plan to say that @A@ *faints* that's what you get for staring straight into the eyes of someone you really really like! X//A//X arrrgh @/////@ )
Dani-san chipped in and said "Ah. Kokuhaku shitan da". (Ah. She made a love confession.) Dani-san's speaking voice was deeper than I thought haha. Enchan smiled a really sweet warm smile and said "Arigatou! xD"(I could see his nice teeth hehe) (I think he slightly giggled) I told Dani how much I loved One Piece and he smiled and thanked me. When I shook Okui-san's hand, all I could say was "Okui san, ganbatte!" Although I had so many things to say orz.

Then some woman behind me (one of the tour bodyguards, according to her MAXIMIZER tour T-shirt <-- I want that shirt orz) told me "can you please move?" in a stern manner, but my head was too much in fangirlism land to bother with her. I was fangirling when I shook Kage-nii's hand so all I said was "Kageyama saaaan!! <3 " 8D and when I got to Fukuchan, I told him how much I loved his Macross 7 songs. <3 Such a sweet smile lol. I also said "Konya, otanoshimi ni!" (grammar ph41ls when your head is empty u__u ) and he said "arigatou!!" *nods with his awesome bushy hair swishing* I was so exhilirated and giggling too much that I forgot to take the poster, and Fuku-chan was like "eh eh eh! Kore!" OAO And I went: "iyaaah! Gomenasai!" @///@ Fuku-chan: 8D

I didn't leave the spot although I was done. I was just staring at them, still in disbelief that I'm this close in distance to them. While waiting for more winners to show up, they made cute faces at me. Fukuchan made this face at me: (>w<) while shaking his head. (You know, like the expression of a dad playing with his baby daughter) SO CUTE LOLOLOL. <3 I said "Rainen mo mata kite ne!" (>v<)/ and Kageyama and Okui said "Hai!! 8D" and nodded. Enchan noticed I was looking at him and he winked at me. <3 SO SEXY *dies* (I think he did that a few times the whole time I was standing there) The cameraman took pictures of JAM Project members. They're so cute when they pose with "V" signs <3 Enchan did the "ILU" sign like he always does <3

The last person was thin crossplayer guy wearing a one-piece-type top (white and blue and a bit of yellow I think) and a hat (a bit bunny-ish with the same colour as the top)....Erm. Needless to say, he looked a bit...odd O__O;;; Enchan, Dani-san and Okui-san didn't say anything. Kage-nii said "Sugoi! 8|" and nodded. Fuku-chan's reaction was the best: " BWAHAHAHA 8D" (he literally burst out a short laugh) and gave him the poster. That's why he's so awesome. He hides nothing xD <3 Btw, Enchan was wearing his red checkered top. Visible chest <3 <3 <3 *bricked* Shortly, they withdrew. (NOOOOO) Everyone gathered at the spot said "MOTTO MOTTO!!" Kageyama and Okui bowed, said thanks and walked out. Fuku-chan punched the air and looked back smilingly while exiting the room.

During the 3 pm JAM Project and Aniki appearance, Enchan noticed when I jumped and waved at him from the other side of the concert stage. He walked nearer to his group and made a small wave at me. <3 later, he passed the stage's mid-section and winked at me (SO SEXYYY), before doing his patented tongue-and-V-sign pose. <3 <3 <3 At a certain point, he pointed at my direction with both his hands (like a gun, only the thumb and the pointing finger not folded).

I went back to roll in fangirlism at the booth after showing Peecee where the autograph session was held <3 :P Then, me, Ryu and Germaine (Maine) went to the Karaoke Joysound booth. The song selection was waaaaaaaaay smaller than that of last year. (._.) Too small, in fact. The only song I could sing in the list (aside from God Knows, which God knows everyone knows) was "Eternal Blaze" by Nana Mizuki. Ryu chose to sing God Knows. The line was really long. While waiting, I became thirsty, hungry and extremely sleepy. (I think having to listen too many renditions of God Knows bored me) Not to mention that I havent recovered from coughing. OTL Come to think of it, why did I decided to sing again? Everyone was nice, they clapped whenever someone finishes singing.

We met several nice girls while lining up. :D One of them sang Hare Hare Yukai while dancing. She wore the Haruhi school uniform. She seemed to be having a lot of fun XD When my turn came, I wasnt even sure I could really sing with all that sleepiness. (= 3=) I sang Eternal Blaze (Endoh cover version style lol). The intro sounded a bit weird because I forgot how the original Nana Mizuki range sounded like =w= By the time I entered the chorus, I think the singing range was OK XD My singing was a bit limited because of the cough (luckily I didn't cough while singing) I don't think anyone else sang that song. I was sleepy as heck, but it was fun =w= When I finished a lot of people were clapping (I was too shy to face them) @___@ Gomen ne for not thanking everyone on the spot, thanks a lot for clapping, minna san m(_ _)m

At 6pm something, I went to line up for the concert with Peecee not far from the stage entrance. We asked the people lining up: "Is this the line for the concert?" And they said "We believe so" ^^;a and when other people asked us the same thing, we said "We believe so" and they said "we'll give you our trust" 8D; and "If anything goes wrong, blame that guy" *points* xD We ran to our seats after the gate opened. My seat was near the aisle. I was the only one with a really white maid dress. Ho ho ho :P

First it started with two Miku (Vocaloid) videos from the Arcade version and the second Hatsune Miku game, Project Diva 2. Most people sitting down didnt really bother with the videos (me included) =/ Surprisingly, JAM Project started the concert, instead of Aniki. They started with MAXIMIZER. (O______O) <3 <3 <3 SUCH AWESOME VOCAL STAMINA <3 <3 <3 MAXIMIZER is the type of song that if sung during the karaoke session, it'll take at least four songs for your throat to recover O_O Enchan, in his black button-up sleeveless top and jeans and spiky-to-the-back hair. *faints* In the beginning, he was at the leftmost part of the stage (so faaaar awaaaaaay ._. ) I jumped and waved at him. Aaaand we made eye contact again :P he walked by the middle part of the stage and while singing, he looked at me and made a small wave at me. <3 I was squealing in happiness. OMG. I'm really in love with this guy. xDDDD Even Peecee noticed the wave. He was like "What the--" OAO

When JAM Pro sang VICTORY, Endoh did a cute spinning dance when Okui sang the "Hoero!!" parts <3 SO CUTE <3 <3 They sang Soultaker, Break Out, Nageki no Rosario, GARO~SAVIOUR IN THE DARK~, Shugoshin~the Guardian (OH GOD SEXY ENDOH SOLO VOCALS), TRANSFORMERS EVO and their new single, MAXON!!! OMG Enchan's sexy attack screams. LIVE. *dies* <3 <3 <3 The sound system couldn't take their vocals OAO <3 <3 <3 <3 They were spinning towels during TRANSFORMERS EVO, Okui front, Enchan behind her, Kage-nii and Dani next to them (left and right) and Fuku-chan was running near them, at the middle-right side of stage from a viewer's point of view. Enchan, you threw the towel at the wrong direction T___T (left side of stage) Okui's towel fell sometime in the mid-part of the song and the bodyguard person put her/his hand on it so fans wouldn't get a chance to take it (owh man lol). When they sang "Rocks", Enchan forgot about 2 lines and the others helped him out. That makes him very much human <3 I love him even more <3 Okui was amazing when she did the "haaaaa" intro @A@ <3 I think Fuku-chan was at his top shape that night. xD He and Kageyama were super sugoi!! xDDD They looked like they were having so much fun on stage <3 Enchan was laughing when the confetti came out 8D <3 Kage-nii introduced everyone and then when he wanted to introduce himself, he said "...and the most important one...is....Kageyama Hironobu!!" (LOLOLOL) Kageyama said that they next, were going to sing their individual songs. First up was Enchan <3 Kageyama and Enchan were in a buddy-buddy arms-over-the-shoulder pose. Kage-nii said : "You want to hear his song? What song is it?" and the crowd said "Gaogaigar!!!" or "Yuusha ou Tanjou!!" And Kage-nii said: "What? Cha-La Head Cha-La???" 8D Enchan & Dani-san : DOKUN *falls on stage with one knee lifted* So cute <3

When the music started, Enchan screamed "YUUSHA OU TANJOOOOOOOUUUU!!!!!" I was like (OH GOD I FINALLY HEAR IT LIVE and IT SOUNDS JUST LIKE THE LIVE ACOUSTIC ALBUM VERSION *faints*) OMG the GOLDION HAMMER and DIVIDING DRIVER screams <3 They're extra extra sexy when sung live <3 <3 <3 <3 he put his foot on the speakers while doing that <3 <3 <3 Dani followed up with "WE ARE!" from One Piece, Okui followed with "Rinbu Revolution" from Utena (OMG so nostalgic!), Kageyama followed with "Cha-La-Head-Cha-La" from Dragon Ball (He was awesomely GAR xDDDD ) and Fuku-chan with "Makka na Chikai" from Busou Renkin (That was the best version I have ever heard. EVER <3 <3 )

When they were talking about their 10th Anniversary (after inviting Aniki out), I took out my banner saying congratulations. Okui-san and Fuku-chan noticed the banner at the same time and made this face in unison: (O,O) They noticed that it was me and smiled and waved 8D *waves back* <3 Enchan was at the far left side of the stage, so he didn't see it. They collaborated with Aniki for the song "STORM". Aniki said: "STOOOOOOORM!!" when the song started xDDDD It was amazinnggg <3 <3 <3 "GETTA CHAAAAANGE!!!" <3 <3 <3 The scream was way more awesome and longer than the recorded version XDDDD After that, they collaborated for "Hagane no Messiah". OMG I've always wanted to hear the original Hagane no Messiah live TwT During the "STOP THE WAAAAAR" part, Enchan did it suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuper long, until near end of the song. Oh Enchan <3 <3 <3 <3 I really really really love you orz.

When JAM Project left (NOOOOO ;A; )Aniki sang songs including Lupin III Ai no Theme (I'VE always wanted to hear that live omgomg <3 <3 ), Captain Harlock (OMGOMGOMG) and Katayoku no taka. Most of his most famous songs were sung in three medleys. One of the medleys was the "Kamen Rider medley", which featured kamen rider songs, Kamen Rider Stronger no Uta, Setup! Kamren Rider X and Moeru Kamen Rider. Among the songs in the medleys are Robot Keiji, Jigoku no Zubat (I think), Hyoga Senshi Gaislugger, Oo! Daitetsujin One Seven, Combattler V no Theme, Koutetsu Jeegu no Uta, Ganbare! Robocon, Ore wa Great Mazinger and Babel 2 Sei. If I'm not mistaken, he sung Go! Go! Megaloman, too. In another medley, which I think is called "iroiro ga aru medorey" (or something), he sung Gatchaman, Ge Ge Ge no Kitaro, Daitetsujin 28, 懐かしくってヒーロー～I'll Never Forget You～, Mazinger Z, ermmmm and other songs~ When I screamed "Z!" he responded with "Z!" while doing the "Z!" hand gesture. 8DDDD He mentioned that Kage-nii's guitar and English skills have improved and that he can't improve on his English. He said "ah, youth (wakasa ne....)" and someone screamed "アニキも若いよ！" and he said "ありがとう”:D

He came out for encores twice. Who else would do that? Only Aniki. Aniki, you're so awesome ;w; During the first encore, he sung 道(pronounced "Tao", although read as "michi" in Japanese) He explained the meaning of the song: "When you have dream, then work work work, oh, forget" (so cute lol). He's saying that the song's message is not to give up on your dreams. <3 I LOVE THIS SONG <3 <3

Second Day, AFA X
My make-up for the second day was better than the first cause I didn't have to run to the event. JAM Project already went back to Japan (their flight back was not long after the previous night's live) so I was a kinda depressed =_= Nothing much happened. I don't do well with depression, it tires me out. I fell asleep after an animation presentation by Singapore-based Nanyang (institute of technology or something?) they showed the storyboards with the prior-translation version, it sounded lame with dialogues like "taste my bullet of justice" O____O but the finished animation with Japanese dubs was awesome!! xDDD it actually looked and felt like a Japanese anime.

Peecee watched the whole thing XD he thought it was awesome.
When I walked half-asleep to the booth, I met a new friend I made during the JAM Pro panel session, Aaron. I helped man the booth for a while. Then I took Ryu's sister around. To be honest, I couldnt afford the only things I wanted to buy (Fire Bomber albums). We wanted to go to the "Not for Sale" booth, which featured good-looking men predicting your future.

Unfortunately, the booth was closed for 10 minutes for an interview. At 6pm something, Ryu & saku went to line up for the concert. My and Kisyah went to line up for the butler cafe, which unfortunately closed services at 6.30pm. Kisyah coincidentally saw Ichirou Mizuki near the Karaoke booth, so we went out of the line after promising her i'd take her outside to eat instead. Erm I screamed "ANIKI!!!!" the moment i saw him from afar lol. We met Neon on the way to meet him.

At first I was like "OMG Where is he where is he" and Kisyah pointed to the direction behind me. *DOKUN* I called him and he gave me a hug (awww he's so sweet). We chatted for a while. I told him that last year I went to his concert and that it was my first concert, and that it was a wonderful experience. He sounded tired, so I didnt want to bother him after taking pictures with him. Yes, I took two pictures with him <3 <3 Thanks so much, Aniki <3 I'll definitely go to your concert again!

We went to eat at Burger King with Neon. Some sauce stained my apron. Then before the end of the event, a girl wanted to take a pic of me. But I used my "hide the stain" pose :P *bricked* Stylo konon pfft :P

That's more or less what happened at AFA X. Some bloggers complained about the line, ticketing and stuff, but from what I see, the AFA X organisers are expanding and making the event better year after year. I'm definitely going again next year ;D

i got a nice "Happy (belated) birthday" card from my colleagues today. Nice to know you're remembered, huh?

It's that time of the year when my motivation to work just dies without a real reason (it's a matter of Heart & Soul.. I guess the real me thinks doing things you don't like is pointless) I hate "demotivational" periods. Sigh. And due to lack of time for studying, my Japanese is more or less down the drain. =_= Really....I want a Dark Hour so bad rite now. Scraping through for now, but as a result, I doubt I'll finish the other drawings I promised to finish before AFA. But I'll find a way to manage. Somehow. I have to get out of this slump. Ganbaru!

Really looking forward to AFA! I sent an entry for the Anisong karaoke competition. I sang with an exhausted throat (was still coughing), quite demotivated due to too many failures in the beginning, so it wasnt up to par. The 16 chosen participants are supposed to receive their confirmation email on the 9th (today)...I guess I didn't get it...? Ah well, at least I tried.

On the other hand, during the recording session, I realized how much I lacked in singing. Naturally, I get annoyed when discovering my own limitations. I'll definitely make myself sing better. Jibun wo koeru!

And I believe one should not impose his or her own personal feelings regarding other people's passions just because his or her personal regrets in the past. That's selfish. Be careful not to cut a flower bud, you won't have a chance to see how beautiful it'll become when it blooms.

I dont think this is ranting? Just random thoughts.

I GOT A HIGH GRADE GUNDAM X GX-9900!!! YAAAAY!!! to be honest...I've never looked inside a Gundam box before. Of course, they're still in parts which need to be assembled. ∑(O_O；)Shock！！ I've never assembled a Gundam in my life! This will be a first. Hrm o(>< )o ｏ( ><)oジタバタ and since I do stuff so slow, I really wonder when it's gonna be done. LAWL. Niichan, tasukete! hahaha. Thanks Qu & Neechan, this is awesome <3 During our weekend outing we had three generations of HG gundams in our hands. :P One Freedom, one from Gundam Wing (I think) and my Gundam X ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ

I'm trying to see myself in about one year from now. Or somewhere in the near future.

Will I still be the same? I know I'm a very hard person to change.

My friends will be moving on by then, going to study overseas and such.

I don't want to be left behind at this square, either. Lonely? Maybe.

I'm not completely lost, it's just the "what if's" trying to get to me.

I'll just list down the options I have. Sacrifices are a must, of course. It's just a matter of letting go of that comfort zone is a challenge. Family may be against it? Most likely.

I've lost my rhythm for a while, need to get it back.

Karaoke

I'm feeling lethargic today~

no, it's not because of yesterday's karaoke at Yumekukan,...it's more likely due to the jetlag. The jetlag only took effect at about 9 pm yesterday. Why? Because I went to karaoke straight away after reaching home following my flight from my hometown across the sea. LOLOLOL I am awesome! See? The power of KARAOKE!!!!

...I really love singing solo...that's not a really good thing haha. I have to be a team player. Probably because if my partner in singing missed the timing, i'll tend to miss it as well. That bothers the perfectionist in me. But I think I got more considerate. I mean, it's not that i sing perfectly anyway. I'll feel like barfing everytime i hear myself on the recording. lawl.

But do you ever get the feeling that you really want to sing seriously and your friends are bothering/distracting you while singing? Let's say by making weird noises and such? I saw this recently when a friend of mine first time went to karaoke with us lol. It's not that she's mad or anything, but she just didnt feel like singing that song anymore and skipped it. What would u do in that situation? If you take the same action, your friends would think that you're a spoilsport/ tak sporting.

If it was me, I'd just sing louder... Not to drown their voices, but so I can at least hear myself and not miss a note or anything haha. Usually Ryu is around to say things like "shhh! I want to hear! *kicks noisy boys* Ryu, ur my hero lawl =w= These things dont annoy me, but instead I'll find myself thinking "What kind of a sound would reach them?" Hahahaha I sound like basara Nekki! Or what if you wanna sing solo and your friends wanna join u for singing as a duet or anything? OwO curious curious.

I just wanted a simple drawing that looks somewhat complete.

I really wonder why being an artist means that you'd instinctively compare your drawings to those of others. It's like a two-edged blade, it may cause you to feel the need to improve, or cause you to get an art block. It's a curious thing...and it's never a good thing to get an art block instead. It thwarts progress O_O

Erm I've been playing a LOT of games lately...I've never felt this happy in a long time LAWL. Trip to Perhentian (part 2)

since i don't have a lot of time to update, I'll keep the stuff on the trip as short as possible (slowly tho haha).

- on the speed boat on the way to Perhentian, sitting in front is fun but make sure ur butt has proper padding (cushion) underneath it. Gets really bouncy yo~ I even screamed superobo attacks when we moved full speed ahead woo!
- The chalet was nicer than the one that our friends got...at least we had two working fans and two working fuses :P
- Mr Leong doesnt understand "girl problem" when my friend said she cant go snorkelling. =_=;;; MEN. >_>
- The corals were nice <3 there were brain-shaped one and lots of colours lawl. I touched a mushroom coral (they brought it up) yaaay.

*on another note, ganbatteiru for my self-learning Japanese journey eyaaargh >A< Bought Minna no Nihongo II books!

Company Trip to Perhentian! (Part 1)

How's everyone? lawl. I went to Perhentian Island for a company trip from 8 July-11 July 2010. It was soooo much fun wheee ;w; I went snorkelling for the first time in my life hahaha. And the price for that is that my skin got tanned...@_@ It's like my skin is a layer cake... There are three hues orz;;;;

We took a bus with the word "MATAHARI" across the street where I worked (Heeey that sounded like a song title 8D ). Since the bus stopped almost every hour, the journey took about 9 hours, I think? =_=;;; My knees hurt every time I stood up due to prolonged sitting/being immobile. As usual, things opposite of what I say would become a reality. For instance, "I'll never be able to sleep in the bus". Hrm. Yeah. I fell asleep. My roomie during the vacation, Veron, even said "You were fantastic" cause I never woke up even when the bus hit the bumps on the road (the bus was driving reeaaaally fast @_@ ). They played Cliffhanger and a random Chinese movie...I didn't mind the Rambo dude, but since they played it so loud and it was dark, it was like a foul-mouthed movie. The dirty language disrupted everyone's sleep =_='''

Company Trip, random stuff, Japanese class

you might have noticed the lack of Japanese emoticons in my blogs. The reason? Since the previous office PC i used got busted, the one they replaced it with (which is also just as slow) doesn't have East Asian languages installed. Meaning, I can't read my husband's (Endoh Masaaki) blogs. I'M VERY UPSET ARGH =______= OF ALL THE JOYS TO TAKE AWAY FROM ME!? =A=

Speaking of which, my husband looks even more hawter now. He definitely worked out for that single. And now the on the new JAM Project album he looks so so so so so SO HOT GYAAAA *A* I love the new songs =w= YAPPARI JAMPRO GA AISURUUUUUUU *faints*

Aaaaanyway. I feel so weird these few days? Like there's some kind of void @_@ I don't get it. Neh. Just stupid kiddy meaningless sensations.

I'm going on a bus to Pulau Perhentian on a company trip =w= I haven't been on a real vacation in years! This is gonna be so awesome! 8D Time to refresh myself lawl! Beaches here I coooome!!!! 8D yaaaaay. I wonder if they have karaoke parlors there. Of course no Yumekukan orz.

Apparently the basic 2 class at the place I'm studying will start earlier than expected (on 11 June). How's everyone? Doing great? Good xD

I just got "lectured" via e-mail on my low production last week =w= as expected. That was the result of a slight fever at work on Monday, then the effect snowballed to other days >_> did i mention that i had a Japanese language test on Sunday, and because of doing unfinished work at night i didn't have time to study? Sigh, lethargy. Not a good word.

I went out with Niichan, Neko and Mama Carol yesterday (^w^) we went out to sushi! and look at anime stuff 8D we went out after I finished my Japanese test lawl.

During the test i forgot the kanji for "Kitte" (stamp) baka... =_= and i was a bit blur during the listening test. So stupid mistakes are definite. But sensei said i was jyouzu during the oral test. Yatta! XD My classmates are still trying to persuade me to continue to B2 course (too expensive and far). I love that place...but I dunno. I still can't decide..there's still no news on the place i'm supposed to be continuing too.

Second: I'm super bored and sleepy in the office. Never eat ice-cream when it's almost 12am, I tell you （￣～￣;）ウーン・・・ I play with my NDS when I can't sleep. And that makes the brain even more active. Weeee. less sleep for me. BLARGH IM SO SLEEPYYYY ε-(´・｀) ﾌｰ

Third: We're going to karaoke soon YAAAAAAY (*≧▽≦)~♪ Soooo gonna sing Macross 7 and JAM Project songs. Hopefully this time it'll be as fun as the first time we went karaoke-ing woot! （＾＿－）☆wink As usual, the idea came up last minute thanks to our Gawd of Karaoke, PeeCee <3 OH YEY KARAOKE <3 <3 <3 The gawd of karaoke has blessed us all LAWL.

Fourth: About a month ago I went to Ipoh's Lost World of Tambun. A goat named Mek likes me. It bit my tudung as a sign of affection. LAWL. I saw tigers too. I went bowling for the second time in my life. I stunk the whole game but I ended it with a double strike woohoo! *insert awesomeface* （￣ー￣）ニヤリ It was really fun. Lots of horse ranches <3

Fifth: I still have quite an amount of Japanese homework to do ｬダヽ(ｏ`皿′ｏ)ﾉ

Short updates!

Most people in my office got (evaluated for a raise and sorts) but I didn't get it. Obviously wasting my time for them during weekends and midnights wasn't worth it. Either that or it got postponed, but seeing my capacity declined for quite some time, i guess it's not time yet. Ah well, why bother. I'm gonna work hard for my own success.

Good news! I have a new addition to the family! My new....

It's something i've been wanting for quite some time lawl. But it's a surprise! and it's not confirmed yet so yea lawl. Ｏ(≧∇≦)Ｏ

I wanted to buy "that" last year, but my laptop got hit by a giant superobo who happened to be passing by. It's either he was bored or the complexities of the relations between machines--no human shall ever comprehend *nodnod* （￣ー￣）ニヤリ*bricked* basically, my laptop got busted last year so i had to shell out the munny for a new laptop instead. （￣へ￣）

I'll take a look at the "toy" tonight, and see if i'll actually get it hurhur. I'm somewhat excited! 8D ♪(ﾉ´∀｀*)ﾉ

May'n Big WAAAAAVE Concert!

Last Sunday (7.3.10) I went to the May'n Big WAAAAAVE concert! It was sooooo awesome! The (solo) performance was way better than she was during AFA09~ The map didnt really show the landmarks or anything but I'm a quite familiar with that place lawl so wasn't really afraid of getting lost lawl ＼（－－）／

We arrived at almost 2pm~ as expected, there were already otakus lining up for the concert, which was scheduled to start at 8pm. o(^^o)(o^^)o わくわく A poster showing the winners of the autograph session was displayed at the entrance to the building:

Apparently Saku, my Kamcao Oyabun's ticket also got picked! at the end of the concert, we also found out that Zelkats and her sister, Nori-chin also got the autograph session! Yaaaaayヾ(＾∇＾) My number was at smack dab in the middle of the chart woo!

Otakus sitting at the stairs were whiling away the time by playing PSPs, reading tankobon mangas and listening to May'n songs (´~`) One of them was playing Project Diva. He put Miku in a bikini (*·_·) A lot of people were wearing the concert T-shirt in 4 variations of colours. I can imagine them chanting "ZIEG MAY'N ZIEG MAY'N" lawl.

Eventually, we entered the concert hall at 7pm something. We had our bags checked for any recording equipments (e_e)We stood at the second row. The tall guy in front of me was caught for taking a picture of May'n. He doesn't seem like he was enjoying the concert.（￣へ￣）I really didn't think he deserved the front spot. I was surprised he wasn't kicked out, but instead got off a warning instead. (*・_・)ノ⌒*

The performance was really great! May'n was very expressive when she sang "Paranoia" ( she actually ran around making expressions of a paranoid person), the "XYZ" dance was really exciting and fun! During the song, one of her dancers named Ken was spinning a towel towards our part of the crowd! xD it was really fun!! ヘ(^_^ヘ)(ノ^_^)ノ Ken kept looking at me. He did that during AFA 09 too. Yep. He was checkin' me out <3 color="#000000">(￣▽￣)ノ＿彡☆バンバン！!

Simply said, the concert was really worth it. May'n was shaking her butt during the Universal Bunny song (she was making the bunny tail dance):

Ah, allright I exaggerated~ ＼(o￣∇￣o)/ That was a great performance. >( ﾟ▽ﾟ)/ *shakes hand* She said "Arigatou!!" *smiles* Oh! So MOE lawl >_~ notice the emoticon she always puts on her blog on the signed poster.

I wanted to talk about the May'n Big WAAAAVE concert i went to last Sunday, but since both this office computer and the connection are too old to achieve a simple task such as uploading pictures (omaigawd firefox can hang just because of previewing thumbnails! (屮ﾟДﾟ)屮 ), I'll talk about something else and save that for a future post~

Before singing the final song of the concert (I think it was called "Arigatou" or something like that), May'n told us of how touched she was of the reactions she received from us Malaysians, and that it was her first in the nation. I remembered her saying "I have received the you all's feelings (she used the word "tama" for soul)", and that she wants to thank everyone through the meaningful song, which she sang whole-heartedly. As she was saying all this, she was choking on her tears. That was how grateful she was. And the way she said it, I felt that she was also extremely grateful for being where she is today. At least I believe so. (either that or I'm a big softie lawl)

While watching all of this, I was imagining what it must be like in her position. To touch your dreams. To taste it. To feel it. (´ー`) What it must feel like....

...quite the thinking fodder, ain't it? （´-`） Success, huh. Apathy at the workplace isn't helping. ugh why am i depressed lawl (´；ω；`) I need a major lifestyle change~ (._.) Ganbaranakia!!! (≧ロ≦)

Dopplegangers!

How's everyone doing? It's a really tiring day for me (*_*) last night I went to a birthday dinner. But i'll talk about the party next time. During the dinner, I met my friend's girlfriend for the first time and I must say I was rather stunned.

Not because of her cuteness.
No, not the dress.
Not her genki-ness either. xD

She REALLY LOOKS LIKE ANOTHER FRIEND OF MINE! \(@A@)/ I really had a "YOU WA SHOCK!" moment there lawl 8D;
I heard that there are at least 7 people who look like you in the world. >3> I wonder how one would feel looking at the same face on a different person? ( ' 3')a

When I showed her the picture of my friend, who had the same smile, same eyes and same facial expressions, she was surprised why I had a picture of her, although that was our first meeting. ^^; her face told me she had a "YOU WA SHOCK!" moment too (^.^''') She was wondering things like "Eh I don't have that baju!". (hahaha)

Even the "Nya!" cat-like expression was also similar. (O_O;) When i told my other friend of the matter, she said that including this time, there have been four cases of her friends telling her how someone else looks like her. Kinda gets one thinking huh? (>w<) How about you all? Have you met your own "Doppelganger"?

I've only been told once that someone else looks like me. ^^; They said that the lower part of my nose and lips looks like this other person. Who was apparently younger than I am, so I'm supposed to be happy, right? 8D *kicked* And speaking of look-alikes, my two friends accidentally exchanged phones cause both are of the same model and the same colour type, too xD;;; (lawl)

I uploaded a random header....that's Masa-san from Seto no Hanayome =w= I know it says "GAR" but if you actually saw that episode, this pic has a completely different meaning. LAWL XD;;

The header's temporary~ i can't do any artworks on my laptop cause I don't have photoshop for the moment TAT I feel so un-GAR without my photoshop~ (>_<)
